Local Homeschool Mom Goes Postal
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Police were called into a local Walmart this afternoon when a homeschooling mother attacked an employee, beating her about the head with a nature journal. When asked about the cause of the incident, Walmart employee Shauna Glogleitz said, "I dunno. I mean, I was just making small talk like the manager wants. I, like, told her that her kids were, like, really sweet and standing nicely in line and all. Then I asked why they weren't in school. She said they homeschooled or whatever, and then I was like, "Well, aren't you worried about their socialization and all?" And then she went postal on me. I didn't know a coil-bound notebook could hurt that much." When questioned on her way to the police cruiser, the mother shouted, "Doesn't anyone read Lord of the Flies anymore?"
